Sarah has been a midwife in our rooms since 2000, taking breaks to have her two daughters.

Sarah trained as a general nurse at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) in 1990 and worked at St Vincent’s Public Hospital for three years in general nursing. Sarah commenced her midwifery studies in 1994 and then worked as a midwife at the Mercy Hospital for Women until 2000. During this time Sarah worked in labour ward, post natal ward, special care nursery and the emergency department. She then spent a year working in the Chemical Dependency Unit. During this time, Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing and Degree in Maternal and Child Health.

Sarah is the mother of two school aged daughters and enjoys cooking, movies, camping and bushwalking. Her dream is to be the next Masterchef! Sarah is a keen Carlton supporter.
